Manchester United were held to another goalless stalemate by San Jose Earthquakes in their second pre-season game in the United States at the Levi's Stadium on Sunday night.
Earthquakes number 25 Quincy Amarikwa was named in the starting XI for the opponents
Young Red Devils right-back, Matthew Olosunde was not among those who had traveled with Jose Mourinho's team for their tour of the United States.
In a game devoid of much clear-cut chances, Scott McTominay came closest to finding the breakthrough for United when he sent a speculative header goalwards but James Marcinkowski did well to hold onto his effort.
Manchester United will continue their pre-season activities with games against Liverpool, Real Madrid, AC Milan and Bayern Munich.
