Nigerian Striker Bags Hat-Trick, Provides Assist As Man Utd Youth Thrash Newcastle United
Published: October 08, 2018Newcastle United were thrashed 4-1 by Manchester United U16s on the same weekend that the Red Devils first team and U18s recorded wins against the Magpies.
The star of the show for the U16s was Nigerian striker Mipo Odubeko who bagged a hat-trick in the comprehensive win.
But it didn't end there as he provided the assist for the goal scored by the hugely talented attacking midfielder Shola Shoretire.
Odubeko has scored a lot of goals for United's youth teams no matter the level and has been tipped to debut for the U18 team before the end of the 2018-19 season, especially as he recently figured for the U17s.
The dangerman has played for Republic of Ireland at U15 level and was part of their squad for the prestigious 2017 Victory Shield in Northern Ireland.
He represented St Joseph's Boys before joining Manchester United youth team.
