Left-Footed PSV Midfielder Madueke Called Up To England Squad For Four-Nation Tournament
PSV Eindhoven wonderkid Nonso Madueke has been named in the latest England U17 squad for a four-nation tournament taking place in the Republic of Ireland.

The Tottenham Hotspur Academy product was the only player of Nigerian descent selected by manager Steve Cooper on the 20-player roster for the UEFA Under-17 International Tournament.

Celtic striker Armstrong Okoflex, who was formerly on the books of Arsenal, was not considered for the trip to Ireland.

Maduke was not involved for the world champions in their opening match against Ireland on Thursday but two players of Nigerian descent in the shape of Timi Sobowale and Festy Ebosele started for the hosts.

On Tuesday, the 16-year-old debuted in the UEFA Youth League, coming off the bench in the 57th minute as PSV were beaten 2-0 by his former club Tottenham Hotspur.
