Official : EFL Club Reading Recall Goalscoring Nigerian Defender From Loan Spell
Published: December 06, 2018EFL Championship club Reading have recalled promising Nigerian center-half, Gabriel Osho from his loan spell with National League club Aldershot Town, the Shots have announced on their official website.
Assuming the agreement between the two clubs was not broken, the 20-year-old would have remained at Aldershot Town until at least January 2, 2019.
Osho made 11 appearances for Aldershot Town, winning two Man of the Match awards in games against FC Halifax Town and Bradford City in the Emirates FA Cup.
He is a player with leadership qualities and was captain of Reading's U23 team before he was farmed out on loan to Aldershot Town in October in order to gain first team experience.
A defender by trade, Osho lit up the Royals scoring charts before he was loaned out, scoring 3 goals in 4 Premier League 2 matches.
He spent a brief spell on loan with Maidenhead United during the 2017-2018 season.
