Official : Liverpool Announce Signing Of England U23 Fullback Purfield

Liverpool Women have announced via their official website the capture of England U23 star Jemma Purfield, subject to international clearance.
The financial terms and duration of the deal have not been disclosed by the Women's Super League side.
Purfield is comfortable playing as a winger and wing-back and arrives Liverpool after graduating from Arizona State University.
In her first words, she told the club's official website : ''I’m delighted and excited to be part of such a prestigious club and can’t wait to get started,” said the England U23 international.
''It’s a massive club, it’s known worldwide and has always had a fantastic reputation, so I think it’s a big opportunity for me to develop.''

For the remainder of the 2018-2019 season, Purfield will play with the number 23 shirt.
