Arsenal 2 Chelsea 0 : Iwobi Enters Game As Sub As Gunners Rekindle Top-Four Aspirations

Arsenal were 2-0 conquerors of Chelsea in their Premier League cracker at the Emirates stadium on Saturday evening, a game which saw Alex Iwobi play some part for his team in the victory.

The Super Eagles star was named on a Premier League team list for the 19th time from a possible 23 by Arsenal manager Unai Emery, coming on for Alexandre Lacazette after 67 minutes.

With the hosts already by two goals before Iwobi's introduction for goalscorer Lacazette, the winger would get a chance to make a mazy run at the Blues defence, squaring for Mohammed Elneny who blazed his attempt well over the bar.

Lacazette opened scoring with a neat finish after 14 minutes before Laurent Koscielny diverted home for 2-0 six minutes to the break to gift the hosts the victory.
