Published: January 26, 2019
Watford have progressed to the fifth round of the Emirates FA Cup after beating Newcastle United 2-0 at St James' Park on Saturday evening.
The fans had to wait until the 62nd minute before the deadlock was broken, and it came from the visitors as Andre Gray lashed inside the near post after a fine assist from Will Hughes.
Nigeria international Isaac Success made sure of the win when he tapped home Domingos Quina's cross from close range in the 90th minute.
The former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles star has the honour of being the first player to score in all three competitions Watford are involved in this season.
Success found the net against Reading and Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup, got on the scoresheet against Huddersfield Town in the Premier League in October prior to today's strike against The Magpies.
With four goals to his name in all competitions, the BJ Foundation product holds a one-goal edge over Arsenal's Alex Iwobi as Nigeria's top scorer representing a Premier League club this season.
