Official: American-Born Nigerian Striker Inks Professional Contract With Arsenal

Premier League giants, Arsenal has revealed via a publication on the club's official website, arsenal.com that teenage Nigerian striker, Folarin Balogun has put pen to paper on his first professional contract.
Having seen his improvement over the years at Hale End and particularly this season, the club's hierarchy has made the move to reward the starlet with his first professional deal.
The 17-year-old Balogun has been with the Gunners since he was aged ten, progressing through the youth ranks, having gone on to feature for the club across all age grades.
This season, he has scored an impressive 13 goals from 13 games so far for the U-18s who sit second on the league standings.
He is fourth player of Nigerian descent to pen a pro deal with Arsenal this season, following in the footsteps of Tobi Omole, Bukayo Saka and Arthur Okonkwo.
