Asisat Oshoala Opens And Closes The Scoring On Home Debut For Barcelona Femení
Published: February 14, 2019Nigeria international striker Asisat Oshoala has landed firmly on her feet at Barcelona Femení after writing her name on the scoresheet for the second successive game as the Blaugranes lost 3-2 to Recreativo Huelva at the Miniestadi on Wednesday evening.
The Dalian Quanjian loanee needed less than a minute to open her goalscoring account for Barcelona on her debut against Rayo Vallecano last weekend after coming off the bench.
On her full and home debut, Oshoala fired home in the 17th minute after goalkeeper Sarita Serrat spilled a shot.
Thirteen minutes into the second half, Raquel equalised for the visitors while their other two goals came courtesy of Anita and Flor in the 61st and 67th minute respectively.
Barcelona reduced the deficit in the 84th minute through a brilliant downward header from Oshoala.
The number 20 went the distance in her second appearance for Barcelona and picked up a booking in the 49th minute.
