Bordeaux Winger Samuel Kalu Suspended For Three Games After Red Card Vs Marseille
Bordeaux have confirmed via their official website that Nigeria international Samuel Kalu has been suspended for three matches by the LFP Disciplinary Committee following the red card he received in the first half against Marseille on February 5.

The LFP Disciplinary Committee made the decision after a meeting held on Wednesday, February 13.

Bordeaux coach Eric Bedouet will not be able to include the striker in his squad list for the games against Toulouse (Feb 17) and Guingamp (Feb 20).

Kalu served the first game of his ban in Bordeaux's 1-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain last weekend and will be in contention for the trip to Nantes on February 24.

The 21-year-old received a straight red card in the 25th minute against Marseille for a tackle from behind on Lucas Ocampos.

This season, Kalu has featured in 17 Ligue 1 matches and has scored three goals while providing three assists.
