Turkish-Based Midfielder Training With Nigeria U23s Ahead Of AFCONQ Against Libya
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigeria U23 coach Imama Amapakabo and his assistants have started running the rule over Fatai Gbadamosi ahead of next month's U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya.

Gbadamosi is a central midfielder on the books of Turkish Sports Toto Regional Amateur League side Kepez Belediyespor and checks in the Dream Team VII Abuja camp reveal that he's the only foreign-based professional currently training with the squad in Abuja.

The Nigeria Football Federation summoned thirty three players to the get-together but not everyone is in camp at the moment as some of the players were permitted to return to their clubs ahead of Wednesday's Nigeria Professional Football League matches.

The players invited train twice a day, with the morning session starting at 0700 hours and ending 0930 hours while the evening workout lasts two hours, from 1600 hours to 1800 hours.

Imama Amapakabo can opt to invite more foreign-based professionals to beef up the squad as the games against Libya will be held during the first Fifa international window of 2019, 18-26 March.

The likes of Oghenekaro Etebo, Azubuike Okechukwu, Victor Osimhen and Junior Ajayi have earned caps for Super Eagles A Team since helping Nigeria win their first U23 AFCON title in 2015.
