Victor Moses Most Expensive Player In Istanbul Derby Between Besiktas And Fenerbahce
Published: February 26, 2019Chelsea loanee Victor Moses was the most expensive player that took to the Vodafone Stadyumu turf in the Istanbul derby between Beskitas and Fenerbahce on Monday evening which ended in a 3-3 draw.
According to the latest transfer market values from Transfermarkt.com, the former Nigeria international is valued at 18 million euros, making him the costliest player of the 28 players in action.
Ghana star Andre Ayew was the second most expensive Fenerbahce player with a market value of nine million euros, followed by central midfielder Eljif Elmas at €7.5 million.
As for Besiktas, the two most expensive players were Domagoj Vida and Liverpool loanee Loris Karius at €10 million and €9.5 million respectively.
Moses was replaced at half-time against Besiktas and it has been suggested that manager Ersun Yanal opted to change him because he wasn't having a good game.
The 28-year-old's highest market value was €20 million as at May 2018, a month before the start of the World Cup.
