Osimhen Is Top Nigerian In European Golden Shoe Rankings After 14th League Goal
Victor Osimhen netted his 15th goal of the season in all competitions as Sporting Charleroi claimed a 4-0 win against Beerschot Wilrijk on Monday in the last match of game week five of Group A playoffs II of the Belgian First Division A.

The Nigeria U23 star was spotting a new look at the Stade du Pays de Charleroi, coloring his hair golden blonde.

Eighteen minutes from full time, Osimhen doubled Sporting Charleroi's advantage when he beat the offside trap before firing past goalkeeper Vanhamel.

The 20-year-old has averaged 0.5 goals per game this season, having registered 15 goals from 30 appearances, an impressive goal return considering the fact he was yet to score his first senior goal as at September 21, 2018.

With 14 league goals, Osimhen is now the joint- highest scoring Nigerian player in the whole of Europe, level on 14 goals with FC Midtjylland's Paul Onuachu.

The Ultimate Strikers Academy is the highest ranked Nigerian in the European Golden Shoe rankings with 21 points.
