The England U21 international would struggle for game time
if he remains at Chelsea as he is behind David Luiz, Antonio Rudiger,
Andreas Christensen and Kurt Zouma in Frank Lampard's pecking order of
central defenders.
Tomori is seen as an alternative to Zouma who is in the plans of manager Lampard for the upcoming season.
The 21-year-old previously enjoyed loan spells at Brighton & Hove, Hull City and Derby County.
