A second half goal from Nigeria-eligible winger Deji Sotona helped Manchester United U19s salvage a 2-2 draw with Hertha Berlin II in a friendly at Altrincham's J. Davidson Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The German side took the lead on two occassions, only for Manchester United to reply with goals in each half.
Former Ajax Amsterdam starlet Dillon Hoogewerf started for United while Shola Shoretire and Sotona began the game on the bench.
Twenty three minutes into the first half, Hoogewerf was replaced and it is feared the striker may have suffered an injury again.

Sotona and Shoretire came on as substitutes in the 63rd minute and it was the former that grabbed an equaliser 15 minutes later, slotting past the Hertha goalkeeper after a great run.
The Red Devils Academy arranged the friendly game to ensure the players gain valuable experience against European opposition.
