Official : Croatian Club Hajduk Split Loan Out Chinedu
Published: January 17, 2020Through a press release, Croatian top-flight club Hajduk Split have confirmed that young Nigerian striker Stephen Chinedu has completed a temporary transfer to NK Dugopolje.
The 20-year-old will continue his development at NK Dugopolje, joining the second tier club on loan for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season.
Acquired by Hajduk Split last summer, he represented their second team in the 2.HNL, playing two games as a substitute and was a non-playing sub in four other games in the division.
Subject to clearance from the Croatian Federation, he could make his debut for NK Dugopolje in Sunday's league game at Croatia Zmijavci.
After 16 matches in the division, NK Dugopolje sit 10th in the standings with 21 points, eight points off the promotion spots.
Nigeria international Emem Eduok plays for the first team of Hajduk Split and has scored 5 goals in 15 league games this term.
