At Tuesday's pre-match press conference ahead of the Premier League meeting with West Ham, Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers was asked about the qualities of Wilfred Ndidi.
The Nigeria international has made a miraculous recovery for the game against the Hammers after undergoing a minor procedure eleven days ago.
Without the Foxes number 25 in the squad, the King Power Stadium outfit were unable to win any of their last three matches, losing to Southampton and Burnley in the Premier League and drew 1-1 with Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup.
"He’s a real colossal player for us. He allows to defend and to defend forward,'' Rodgers was quoted as saying by Leicester City's official webpage.
"He covers a lot of space for our attacking players and there’s not too many players better than him who do that job.
“He’s a phenomenal player. To have him back early is a huge boost for us. He has been a miss, no doubt."

Should Ndidi feature against West Ham on Wednesday, the former Genk starlet will reach 126 games for Leicester City, two years after joining the club.
