Super Eagles Winger Nearing Double Figures For Both Goals & Assists After Scoring Vs PSG
Published: February 05, 2020
Moses Simon continued his impressive performances for Nantes after scoring for the second successive game in a 2-1 loss to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain on Tuesday evening.
The Super Eagles winger finished off a beautiful solo effort past Costa Rican international Keylor Navas in the 68th minutes to pull one back for his side after they had trailed to goals from Mauro Icardi and Thilo Kehrer at the Stade de la Beaujoire.
The Levante loanee has now directly contributed to 16 goals (8 goals, 8 assists) from 25 appearances in all competitions for Christian Gourcuff's side this season.
Simon has scored in all the tournaments Nantes have contested this term, scoring four and laying on five in the top flight, hitting three in the Coupe de la Ligue with one assist to go with it while another effort has come in the Coupe de France and produced two assists in the competition.
Nantes are placed tenth in the table, having accrued 32 points from 23 games. They face Dijon in their next domestic encounter on Saturday 8th.
