Norwegian Federation, Premier League Hint Transfer Of Fiabema To Chelsea Has Not Been Completed
Published: February 07, 2020
The Norwegian Football Federation have hinted that the transfer of Norwegian-Nigerian striker Bryan Fiabema to English Premier League side Chelsea has not been completed.
The official website of the Norwegian Federation has published a squad list for this year's La Manga Tournament involving U17 national teams and Fiabema was listed as a player of Tromso.
The Norwegian Federation explained that ''Players who have changed clubs lately will be listed with the club they are registered with in FIKS until the transfers are formally in order''.
In the same vein, Fiabema's name was conspicuously missing from the U21 players and scholars when Chelsea submitted their updated squad to the English Premier League, which suggests that the registration paperwork has not been completed.
Fiabema is battling to overcome a minor ailment ahead of Norway U17s next international match against Poland, Aftenposten is reporting.
Due to a bad groin, the Norwegian-Nigerian striker could only make an appearance off the bench in a 2-1 loss to Croatia on Thursday, February 6, playing the last 19 minutes as a replacement for Nicolai Skoglund.
