Manchester United are hoping to beat other European giants to the signature of Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Jadon Sancho, according to reports.
Italian transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano says United have been in contact with Sancho's agent for two months and the two parties are thrashing out a deal.
The 20-year-old Sancho is represented by Nigerian intermediary Emeka Obasi of Elite Project Group Limited.
The English-based agent also handles the affairs of Super Eagles stars Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, Joe Aribo and Josh Maja, as well as some exciting Nigerian youngsters such as Bukayo Saka, Folarin Balogun, Tobi Omole, Malcolm Ebiowei and Sheyi Ojo.
"Manchester United have been in contact with Jadon Sancho’s agent for two months and are working on his contract, Romano said on Instagram according to the Metro.
"The coronavirus pandemic is making it hard to communicate with Borussia Dortmund. United are confident."
