Super Eagles Playmaker Iwobi Names The Best Dribbler At Everton
Published: May 30, 2020Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi has identified Brazilian winger Bernard as the best dribbler at Everton.
With a dribbling rating of 85, Bernard is statistically the top rated Everton player on FIFA 20 ahead of Iwobi (82), Richarlison (81) and Sigurdsson (81), and the Nigerian goes along with the ratings.
Speaking to Soccer AM, the former Arsenal winger hailed the qualities of Bernard, adding that his ability to get out of tight situations makes him unique.
"I am going to go with Bernard. The way he keeps the ball and he's so neat with it, his feet are so sharp, he's able to get out of tight situations where you think he shouldn't," said Iwobi.
Iwobi noted that there are several players in the Everton squad with good dribbling ability, including his former teammate at Arsenal, Theo Walcott.
"It's different styles of dribbling like Theo is good at dribbling when he's at pace. If he's dribbling and coming at pace it is hard for defenders.
"There's a lot of people I would have put out there but I would say Bernard in that aspect probably wins it for me," the Toffees number seventeen concluded.
This season, Nigeria's most expensive player in history, Iwobi has averaged 1.2 dribbles per game in the English Premier League, according to Whoscored.com.
