'Osimhen Is A Footballer We Are Interested In' - Napoli Sporting Director Hints At Imminent Arrival Of Super Eagle

Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has hinted at the imminent arrival of Lille striker Victor Osimhen after confirming that the Blues are interested in his signature.
The Nigeria national-teamer flew to Italy last week to hold contract talks with Napoli and negotiations were positive, paving the way for the Serie A side to continue to thrash out a fee with Lille.
Napoli are in the market for a striker with the future of Arkadiusz Milik up in the air and have turned their attentions to Osimhen as a replacement for the prolific Pole, who has netted 47 goals for Gli Azzurri since he joined the club from Ajax Amsterdam in 2016.
Giuntoli spoke of the possibility of signing Osimhen before the start of Napoli's Serie A match with AS Roma on Sunday.
He told Sky Sport Italia : "Osimhen is a footballer we are interested in. Can next week be the right week to define the purchase? Let's see."
The Super Eagles star joined Lille last summer for a fee of €14 million and had a banner season, scoring 18 goals in all competitions.
