Allnigeriasoccer.com's round-up of the Nigeria-eligible players who were on parade for their
respective clubs on matchday three in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, November 3.
At the MCH Arena (Herning), Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka started and was in action for ninety minutes as Danish champions FC Midtjylland lost their third consecutive game in Group D.
Anders Dreyer scored FC Midtjylland's first goal in the group stage proper but it was not enough to help the Wolves claim their first point as Antony and Dusan Tadic found the net before he halved the deficit.
England youth international Felix Nmecha made it off the bench for Manchester City in a 3-0 win against Olympiakos at the Etihad Stadium.
Ferran Torres opened the scoring in the 12th minute before Gabriel Jesus doubled the advantage nine minutes from time.
In the 90th minute, João Cancelo curled the ball into the net from 20 yards, assisted by Nmecha who was in action for the last five minutes on his Champions League debut.
Super Eagles left-back Zaidu Sanusi followed up his promising performance against Olympiakos with another fine showing against Marseille at the Estádio Do Dragão.
Moussa Marega, Sergio Oliveira and Luis Diaz got the goals for the Portuguese champions.
Sanusi, who went the distance, came close to scoring in the second half.
