Done Deal : Queens Park Rangers Confirm Nigerian-Born Winger Has Inked New Contract
Published: November 26, 2020
With a statement on their official website, Championship club Queens Park Rangers have announced that Kaduna-born winger Odysseus Alfa has inked a new contract.
Allnigeriasoccer.com broke the news six days ago that the skillful and intelligent winger has ended speculation about his future after putting pen to paper on a two-year, seven month deal with the Hoops.
The London club have now confirmed that the new deal will keep Alfa at the club until 2023 and his original contract was due to expire in 2021.
The 21-year-old is inching closer and closer to a first team debut for Queens Park Rangers.
He made the matchday squad for the last two games played by QPR in the Championship - against Watford and Rotherham United - but was a non-playing substitute.
Since joining QPR at the age of fourteen, he has taken in loan spells at CD Atlético Baleares, Billericay and Maidenhead United to prepare him for the rigors of senior football.
