English Premier League club Arsenal held their final workout at the Aker Stadium on Wednesday evening ahead of their Europa League meeting with 2019 Norwegian champions Molde.
The biggest novelty was the presence of Spanish-Nigerian central midfielder born in England, Miguel Azeez.
Azeez and another Nigeria-eligible teenager in striker Folarin Balogun were among the players that trained in rainy conditions at the Aker Stadium.
The midfielder would be making his professional debut for the Gunners on Thursday evening if he is given a run-out by Spanish football tactician Mikel Arteta, something that is within reach as he is set to be included in the matchday squad.
After training on Wednesday, Azeez took to Instagram to confirm that he is ready for a potential debut, accompanied by a picture of Arteta watching him from close quarters during the workout.
"Preparations done, all focus on tomorrow’s game now🔥 @europaleague," Azeez stated.
Azeez, whose sibling Femi is on the books of Championship outfit Reading, signed his first professional contract with Arsenal in September 2019.
