Everton's Iwobi Bags Assist, Iheanacho Fails To Equal Premier League Record Held By Chelsea Star

Alex Iwobi impressed once again as Everton made it two wins from two matches, beating Leicester City 2-0 at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday evening, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

According to the BBC, the Foxes number 14 could not equal a Premier League record jointly held by Julian Joachim versus Derby (1996-97) and Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud versus Southampton (2017-18) as the only players to have scored as a substitute in three consecutive appearances against an opponent.
Iheanacho got on the scoresheet after coming off the bench in his last two games against Everton before Wednesday evening's fixture.
