Confirmed : Bristol City Recall Adelakun From His Loan Spell At Hull City
Published: January 05, 2021
With a statement on their official website, EFL Championship side Bristol City have confirmed that Nigerian winger Hakeeb Adelakun has been recalled from his loan spell at League One side Hull City.
The initial agreement would have kept Adelakun at the Tigers until the end of the 2020-2021 season.
But he has been recalled after a string of fine performances for Hull City, notching three goals and two assists in seventeen appearances across all competitions.
The winger is departing Hull City with the club second in the League One standings with 37 points.
He is in contention to make his first appearance of the season for Bristol City in Sunday's Emirates FA Cup Third Round game against Portsmouth at Ashton Gate.
A product of the West Ham academy, Adelakun joined Bristol City in the summer of 2018 from Scunthorpe United and spent the second half of last season on loan at Rotherham United.
