Bayern Set To Reward Chelsea Product Musiala With New Contract After First Team Breakthrough
European champions Bayern Munich intend to extend the contract of Chelsea academy product Jamal Musiala following his first team breakthrough according to reports.

Sky Sport Germany says that the Bavarians are negotiating with the attacking midfielder to extend his stay for three more years until 2025.

Musiala joined Bayern Munich in the summer of 2019, inking a three -year deal until end of the 2021-2022 season.

If talks go well, the England U21 international of Nigerian descent would ink a new deal as from his 18th birthday on February 26, 2021 and would reportedly earn around six million euros a year in the future.

Musiala has totaled 17 appearances in all competitions for Bayern Munich's first team, scoring three goals.

He is now considered a first team player for the Bundesliga powerhouse considering the fact that he has played only two matches for Bayern Munich's reserve team and sixteen for the first team this season.

The midfielder became Bayern's youngest-ever player in the Bundesliga at just 17 years and 115 days old when he made his first team debut against Frieburg on June 20, 2020, and is the club's all-time youngest goalscorer at 17 years and 205 days after scoring on the opening day of this season.
