Spartak Moscow Want To Sign A Rival For Chelsea Loanee Victor Moses
Published: February 07, 2021
Spartak Moscow coach Domenico Tedesco has confirmed that the Russian Premier League giants are scouring the market for a new wing midfielder before the close of the winter transfer market.
The Russian window closes on February 25, meaning the Muscovites have eighteen days left to get their man.
Chelsea loanee Victor Moses has operated mainly in a right wing midfield role since his arrival at Spartak Moscow, playing eight of his nine appearances in that position.
Asked by Sport Express Russia the position he needs a player for, Tedesco answered : "Hard to tell. We are in good shape now, we have a good team.
"If we could improve something, it would be nice to find an executor for the position of the wing midfielder".
Moses joined the Red-Whites in October
2020 for a loan fee of 300,000 euros and a purchase clause set at five
million euros.
Spartak Moscow will make a decision on whether to trigger the
purchase clause at the end of the 2020-2021 season, after consulting
with the coaching staff.
