Rangers-Bound Ofoborh Names Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool Legends As Midfielders He Bases His Game On
Published: February 07, 2021Bournemouth-owned midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh will join Scottish Premiership champions-in-waiting Rangers on a four-year deal with effect from the summer.
The Nigeria youth international has admitted that he modeled his game after three of the best midfielders the English Premier League has seen, namely Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira, ex-Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard and Chelsea icon Frank Lampard, when he was much younger.
Ofoborh says he's thrilled to have the opportunity to play under one of his childhood idols, Gerrard when he links up with his new employer before the start of the 2021-2022 season.
In quotes carried by Daily Record citing Daily Mail, Ofoborh said : "I’m a midfielder so tried to base my game on guys like Gerrard, Lampard and Vieira when I was younger.
"So to be coached by him will be amazing. I’m going to try and learn as much as I can from him.
