Speaking to the Arsenal matchday programme for the visit of Tottenham Hotspur, U18s goalkeeper Hubert Graczyk highlighted the key strengths of his teammates in the academy.
Born in Poland but an England youth international, Graczyk started off his career at Rap-aid Youth FC, a north London club founded by a Nigerian Tim Aleshe, who used to look after Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Samson Tijani in the past.
While giving a lowdown on his teammates, Graczyk picked Anglo-Nigerian fullback Daniel Oyegoke as his best friend in football.
The 18-year-old selected Miguel Azeez as the academy player who has got the best passing range and most committed, and chose Republic of Ireland youth-teamer of Nigerian descent Mazeed Ogungbo as the strongest.
Of the aforementioned Nigeria-eligible players, only Azeez has made his debut for the first team of Arsenal and it came against Dundalk in the group stage of the Europa League on December 10, 2020.
Oyegoke has appeared in eight Premier League 2 matches for Arsenal U23s and Ogungbo mainly plays for the U18s.
