Super Eagles target Eze double-nominated for Crystal Palace's 2020-21 Goal of the Season

Nigeria Football Federation target Eberechi Eze has been double-nominated for Crystal Palace's 2020-21 Goal of the Season accolade, informs the official website of the Eagles.
The attacking midfielder's strikes in the home matches against Leeds United and Sheffield United are among the eight-goal shortlist for the most eye-catching goal netted by a Palace player this term.
Twenty-two minutes into the contest vs Leeds United, Eze scored his first Premier League goal, a magnificent free-kick, curling the ball underneath the crossbar which was impossible for the goalkeeper to save.
The Anglo-Nigerian star showed why Palace spent 16 million pounds to sign him when he scored a stunning solo goal after coming off the bench to help Crystal Palace defeat Sheffield United 2-0 on matchday seventeen.
Eze breezed past a number of Blades players from the half-way line before nonchalantly rolling the ball into the far corner.
Joining the former Queens Park Rangers on the shortlist are Jairo Riedewald and Jean-Philippe Mateta, as well as Christian Benteke and the club's star man Wilfried Zaha who have both been nominated twice.
The winner of the Crystal Palace Goal of the Season will be announced later this year.
