Leicester City boss rejects comparisons between Ndidi and Chelsea star Kante after win vs Man Utd

Speaking at the post-match press conference after Leicester City's 2-1 win against a weakened Manchester United side in the Premier League, manager Brendan Rodgers has dismissed comparisons between Wilfred Ndidi and N'Golo Kante.
France national teamer Kante was the star of the Leicester City side that won the Premier League title in 2015-2016 before switching to Chelsea the following season.
The midfield partnership of Ndidi and Youri Tielemans came right to the fore and really showed how crucial they are to the Leicester City team during the second half against Manchester United when the game was in the melting point.
When asked if he sees Ndidi as the next N'Golo Kante, Rodgers replied : "No, I think he's Wilfred Ndidi, I think Kante has got special skills, and he's a defensive midfield player of course like Ndidi but they're two totally different players.
"Wilfred in his own right is a top class player who can improve in some areas of his game but thankfully he's a player that wants to develop.
"But yes that combination of Wilfred winning the ball, Youri is the passer, is a really strong combination."

Manchester City were crowned Premier League champions after Leicester City's 2-1 win against Manchester United, with Luke Thomas and Caglar Soyuncu getting on the scoresheet for the Foxes and Mason Greenwood on target for the Red Devils.
