Crotone chief confirms five clubs including Genoa are interested in Super Eagles striker

Crotone sporting director Peppe Ursino has emphasized that five clubs, including Genoa are interested in signing Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo in the summer transfer window.
The future of the Nigeria international has dominated the backpages in recent weeks following the demotion of the Sharks to the second-tier of Italian football.
Thanks to Simy's outstanding season that saw him score 20 goals in 38 games in the top-flight, he is not lacking suitors, and if he has his way he would prefer a move to the English Premier League.
Ursino confirmed that he has held talks with Genoa chairman Enrico Preziosi, who wants to bring Simy and Messias on board next season.
In quotes relayed by fantacalcio.it citing Telenord, he stated : "These are two players who scored 30 goals in the last Serie A season. Messias is a player who can play in all mid-high ranking teams.
"For me he can very well play for Juve, Milan or Inter, while Simy is a striker with enormous room for improvement who can easily play Serie A even if not at the levels of Messias, let's say in any average ranking.
"At least seven teams called us for the first, while for the second five clubs.
"Genoa and Sampdoria? We have excellent relations with both clubs, we have also talked to Preziosi lately, let's see what happens".
Simy pulled out of the Nigeria squad for their upcoming friendlies against Cameroon due to a physical problem.
