In the opening forty-five minutes, West Ham got their goals through Pierre Ekwah, Dan Chesters and a Marqes Muir own goal, while Nile John (2) and Alfie Devine replied for the home team to ensure it was 3-3 at the break.
Former Arsenal schoolboy Okoflex scored what proved to be the winning goal four minutes into the second half when he converted a spot-kick though goalkeeper Oluwayemi got his fingertips to the ball but couldn't save it.
At Sir Jack Hayward Training Ground in West Midlands, Southampton secured their first win of the season after beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0.
Olympic National Team hopeful Oludare Olufunwa and Belgian-Nigerian winger Kazeem Olaigbe went the distance for the Saints while Wolves defender Michael Agboola tasted action for 62 minutes before leaving the pitch.
Olaigbe netted the winner from the spot five minutes into the contest, his third goal from the spot so far this season.
