There are six goals to report in Football League matches involving Nigeria-eligible players on Tuesday, October 19.
We begin in the Championship. Bournemouth have opened a six-point lead at the top of the table following a 1-0 win over Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium thanks to Dominic Solanke's match-winning strike.
Five minutes into the second half, the Chelsea academy product slotted home the loose ball after Potters goalkeeper Adam Davies spilled a shot.
Still in the division, goals from Fred Onyedinma and Elijah Adebayo helped Luton Town save a point against Derby County at Pride Park Stadium.
Onyedinma marked his return from injury with a goal in the 48th minute to make it 1-1 before ex-Fulham center forward Adebayo rose highest and headed home in the 83rd minute for 2-2.
In the League One, Super Eagles striker Sone Aluko scored for the second game in a row as Ipswich Town registered an emphatic 4-0 victory over Portsmouth at Fratton Park.
Just before the hour mark, Auko's right-footed shot beat the cap-tied Republic of Ireland international of Nigerian descent Gavin Bazunu.
Elsewhere, Manchester City academy product Fisayo Dele-Bashiru rescued a point for Sheffield Wednesday against Cambridge United at Abbey Stadium.
Ten minutes from time, the 2019 Flying Eagles invitee fired a low drive past the goalkeeper and opened his account for the season in the process.
In the League Two, Tottenham Hotspur loanee Kion Etete netted his maiden goal in the League Two but his third of the season in all competitions as Northampton Town thrashed Stevenage 3-0 at the Sixfields Stadium.
Etete opened the scoring for the Cobblers with a low shot in the 34th minute - his first goal in the division after 16 games.
