Middlesbrough, Swansea, Bournemouth gunning for Arsenal's Anglo-American-Nigerian whizkid

Folarin Balogun is on the radar of multiple Championship and foreign clubs around one month before the January transfer window opens for business.
The England U21 international has turned heads following his outstanding performance for Arsenal's development squad in the 2021-2022 season.
It was previously known that Middlesbrough were exploring ways to sign the Anglo-American-Nigerian center forward.
According to The Sun UK, St Etienne sent leading scout Romain Barq to watch him play last week while Bournemouth and Swansea have also had top spies at matches.
The statistics back up the claim that U23 football is too easy for Balogun with fourteen goals in eleven appearances across all competitions for Arsenal's development squad including a recent hat-trick against Derby County.
The Hale End Academy graduate turned professional in February 2019 and has gone on to make nine appearances for Arsenal's first team since his senior debut in a Europa League clash against Dundalk in October 2020.
New York City born Balogun has played nonstop at Arsenal since the age of eight.
