Published: December 03, 2021Derby County overcame an early setback to secure a 3-1 win over Chelsea in a Premier League 2 clash at Loughborough University Football Stadium on Friday night.
There were starts for Derby County's Anglo-German-Nigerian midfielder Osazee Aghatise and versatile Chelsea winger Tariq Uwakwe with the two youngsters going the distance with the number 11 on the back of their jerseys.
Soonsup-Bell gave the visitors a dream start when he fired into the bottom corner to open the scoring in the 12th minute.
After a good first half performance from the Blues, they were disappointing in the second stanza, conceding three goals.
Cybulski leveled matters with a right-footed finish in the 59th minute before Aghatise put the Rams ahead for the first time in the game on the hour mark.
Aghatise slotted into the bottom corner after a through-ball from Louie Watson and Cybulski got his second of the game with eleven minutes remaining to wrap up the scoring.
The 19-year-old joined Derby County's academy in 2019-2020 as a first year scholar after stops at Manchester United and Manchester City.
Aghatise's strike against Chelsea was his third of the season in the Premier League 2 Division One.
