Fulham eye summer move for former Chelsea academy player of Nigerian descent
Championship promotion favourites Fulham are reportedly interested in signing former Chelsea academy player Oladapo Afolayan in the summer.

According to Bolton News, Bolton Wanderers have a fight on their hands to keep hold of the winger when the transfer window reopens, with Fulham interested in his services.

Fulham talent spotters have been keeping tabs on the Anglo-Nigerian over the last few months ahead of the Cottagers making a bid for his signature.

Predominantly a winger, Afolayan is Bolton Wanderers top scorer this season with thirteen goals in 42 appearances in all competitions.

Should the move materialize, he could be joining Tosin Adarabioyo and Josh Onomah, who are both contracted to Fulham beyond the end of the season, at the London-based club.

Afolayan has been carrying a groin injury and will be assessed before the Trotters face off with Plymouth Argyle on Saturday, March 12.

The 24-year-old, who was on the books of Chelsea for seven years, has two years left on his contract with Bolton Wanderers.
