CIES report suggests Arsenal, Newcastle target Osimhen is ridiculously overpriced by Napoli

The CIES Football Observatory has put together a list of the top 100 estimated transfer values for players worldwide.
Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is the only Nigeria-eligible player included on the list of 100 most valuable players in the world.
At 51 million euros (approximately N22.65 billion in Nigerian currency), Osimhen is the joint 96th most expensive player in the world, along with AS Roma attacking midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini.
If the updated market values are anything to go by, Osimhen is ridiculously overpriced by Napoli, with the Serie A club placing an inflated asking price of more than 100 million euros on the 23-year-old amid speculation linking him with a summer move to the Premier League.
The 2015 U17 World Cup winner is attracting genuine interest from Newcastle United, while Arsenal are considering a move for the Napoli number 9 if they fail to land their primary target Gabriel Jesus.
The €51m valuation of Osimhen by CIES can be met by Arsenal but Napoli's asking price of more than €100m could prove a stumbling block to a potential deal.
Osimhen is the 12th most valuable player in the Serie A and 38th among players classed as strikers worldwide.
