Opinion - Gabriel Jesus v Osimhen : Who should have been Arsenal's main target this summer?

Arsenal have opted to go for Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus over Nigeria's Victor Osimhen in the transfer market. The Brazilian will cost around 45 million pounds before add-ons.
Gabriel Jesus has been on the radar of the London giants since last year but a move never materialised in January.
The market for strikers is quite limited due to the modification that has been added to the position.
No longer are strikers only good in the air and scoring goals, they also need to meet all other facets of play like running the channels and pressing in order to make it in the top teams.
So having almost completed the signing of Jesus, should the Brazilian have been Arsenal's main target ahead of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen?
Allnigeriasoccer.com takes a look at both striker's qualities to determine who would have been signed between both players for the Gunners.
Mikel Arteta's preferred formation is the 4-3-3 Juego de Posición tactical set-up with a focus on dominating all areas of the pitch.
It is a very similar set-up to Pep Guardiola's Manchester City system which has proven to be quite effective over the years.
Both strikers fit into the description of a Juego de Posición striker. Both are good at pressing from the front, linking play, pinning defenders, and running the channels.
However, Osimhen has two advantages over Jesus. He is more aerially dominant due to his height and he is more clinical due to his ball-striking skills.
In the hostile environment of the Premier League where aerial prowess and clinical finishing are necessities, Osimhen could have given Arsenal a higher number of goals.
While Jesus is a great striker with extensive Premier League experience, Osimhen could have guaranteed the Gunners more goals and should have been the Gunners' main target.
