Four possible reasons Arsenal chose to target Gabriel Jesus over Osimhen

Arsenal have opted to go for Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus over Nigeria's Victor Osimhen in the transfer market. The Brazilian will cost around 45 million pounds before add-ons.
Gabriel Jesus has been on the radar of the London giants since last year but a move never materialised in January.
The market for strikers is quite limited due to the modification that has been added to the position.
Being that Osimhen has significant upgrades like aerial presence and finishing over Gabriel Jesus, allnigeriasoccer.com takes a look at four possible reasons Arsenal chose to target Jesus over Osimhen.
Pressing
Pep Guardiola once described Jesus as the "best player in the world at implementing a high-intensity pressing game" and Arteta is also known to love a high-press.
While Osimhen is a good presser, he is not as effective as Jesus in this regard.
Premier League experience
Jesus is highly experienced in the Premier League. Being the highest-paced league in the world, foreign players sometimes find it hard to adjust to the frantic nature of the English league.
For Osimhen's quoted price of 100 million euros, it would be a great loss if he doesn't adjust to the EPL.
Versatility
Gabriel Jesus is highly versatile and can play on either flank as well as centre-forward. Arteta likes players who can play multiple roles as shown in his recent signings of White, Tomiyasu, Odegaard and so on. Osimhen on the other hand can only play through the middle.
Flexibility
Jesus provides more tactical flexibility than Osimhen. Arteta is a flexible coach who loves his team to be able to adapt to different situations and changes during the game.
