U20 WWC Falconets player ratings : Demehin leader, Oyono commanding, Oshobukola technical

The Falconets of Nigeria were able to see off The Litte Blues of France in their first game of the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup held in Costa Rica with a slim 1-0 scoreline.
The goal was scored by Sabastine in the 85th minute before their showdown against South Korea on August 14th.

Mercy Idoko : Powerful. Did well as an outlet to relieve pressure. (7.5/10)
Rofiat Imuran : Worked hard. Great ball usage and general awareness. (7.5/10)
Jumoke Alani : Ran tirelessly to prevent the midfield from being overrun. Made a few mistakes on the ball but very good performance. (7.5/10)
Joy Jerry : Struggled in the opening exchanges but grew into the game as well as she could. (7/10)
