Shoretire trains with Man Utd deadline day signings Antony and Dubravka pre-Arsenal
Published: September 03, 2022Shola Shoretire trained with Manchester United's deadline day signings Martin Dubravka and Antony Santos on Friday, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
In preparation for their Premier League clash against Arsenal, the Red Devils under the guidance of manager Erik Ten Hag trained at the Carrington Training Ground, with Shoretire part of the workout, according to the images published by United on their official website.
The new signings from Newcastle United and Ajax Amsterdam were seen undergoing drills and also familiarizing themselves with their new teammates.
Shoretire has not been involved in all of United's games this season, but has often been invited to train with the first team by the Dutch football tactician.
The England youth international of Nigerian descent was linked with a temporary departure from Manchester United before the close of the summer transfer window but a move did not happen.
Manchester United are on a three-game winning streak, following Thursday's 1-0 win over Leicester City in a Premier League game at the King Power Stadium.
They'd be looking forward to continuing their resurgence when they host table toppers Arsenal on Sunday evening at the theater of dreams.
Shoretire, who signed his first professional contract with Manchester United in February 2021, has made United's matchday squad on twelve occasions.
The Nigeria-eligible youngster made his senior team debut in February 2021, coming on as a substitute in Manchester United's 3-1 win over Newcastle United.
Ever since then, the 18-year-old has made four more appearances off the bench.
