According to the official website of Sheriff Tiraspol, Premier League giants Manchester United will not hold an official training session at the Zimbru Stadium ahead of their Europa League match against the Moldovan side.
Sheriff's press service has published the press schedule on Wednesday and on the day of the match against Manchester United in the Europa League, which will take place on September 15.
The United squad have been training at Aon Training Complex ahead of today's trip to Moldova.
Rasheed Akanbi has been selected for media duties on Wednesday and will attend the mandatory pre-match press conference along with Sheriff's Croatian manager Stepan Tomas at 1500 hours Moldovan time.
The Nigerian striker and his teammates will begin official training at 17:30 at one of their training fields, and media representatives will be allowed to watch only the first fifteen minutes.
Known for his speed and trickery down the left flank, Akanbi has been one of Sheriff's standout performers this season with seven goal involvements (5 goals, 2 assists) in fourteen matches.
The 23-year-old is a product of Future Pro Academy, a grassroots club based in Lagos, which produced former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles skipper Ramon Azeez.
Former Dream Team VI star Iyayi Atiemwen is also in contention to face Manchester United.
