Flying Eagles-eligible striker Shola Shoretire is training with Manchester United's first team ahead of their UEFA Europa League clash against Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena (Donostia-San Sebastián) on Thursday evening.
Through their official website, the Red Devils on Tuesday morning published the latest training images and the England U19 international of Nigerian descent was spotted training with the club's first team stars.
Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia, Cristiano Ronaldo, Lisandro Martinez, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Martin Dúbravka, Anthony Martial, Fred, Diogo Dalot, Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire, Anthony Elanga, Christian Eriksen, Scott McTominay, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Donny van de Beek, Facundo Pellistri, Tyler Fredricson and Zidane Iqbal were all in attendance at Carrington Training Ground in Manchester on Monday, October 31.
Manchester United have a history of giving opportunities to young players, with several of their current first team stars rising through the ranks.
Shoretire is the youngest ever player to represent Manchester United in European competition, making his debut in the Europa League against Real Sociedad in February 2021 at the age of 17 years and 23 days.
Although the Anglo-Nigerian has yet to play a single game under Erik ten Hag, he has shown what he's capable of when on U21 duties with five goals in eight appearances for the age group this season.
