Former Chelsea star Victor Moses condoles Davido over son's death
Published: November 02, 2022Former Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses on Wednesday expressed his heartfelt grief over the death of David Adeleke's (Davido) son, Ifeanyi on Monday 31 October 2022 at the singer's Banana Island residence in Lagos.
The three-year-old son of the music act reportedly drowned in the swimming pool of the Adelekes in the care of his minders when Davido and his fiancee, Chioma were not at home.
Moses is close friends with Davido who had been at the Chelsea home ground, Stamford Bridge, a couple of times when Moses was a player of the club ( as pictured).
The former Nigeria international put out a tweet on Wednesday, November 2 to commiserate with Davido on the loss of the little son.
"My love, strength and prayers go out to @davido," Moses wrote on his verified Twitter handle.
As at the time of writing this report, the tweet had generated 166 retweets and more than 1,700 likes.
Moses, who was a member of the Nigerian national team that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa, has scored twice In four Russian Premier League matches this season for Spartak Moscow.
The 31-year-old is undergoing rehabilitation after suffering an Achilles tendon injury in August that required surgery,
