London Football Awards : Olise battles Arsenal trio Saka, Martinelli, Saliba for Young POTY

2021 Super Eagles invitee Michael Olise has been nominated for two accolades at the 2023 London Football Awards.
The London Football Awards celebrate the very best in London clubs consisting of Arsenal, Brentford, Charlton Athletic, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Fulham, Leyton Orient, Millwall, Queen Park Rangers, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.
Other clubs celebrated are AFC Wimbledon, Sutton United, Watford, London Bees and London City Lionesses.
Olise has received two nominations including the Men's Young Player of the Year, where he has been nominated alongside Arsenal young stars Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba; and Millwall’s Billy Mitchell.
The France U21 international of Nigerian and Algerian descent has also been nominated for the Goal of the Season for his sensational free-kick goal in injury time in a Premier League clash against Manchester United last month.
The London native is competing against Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-Min, Watford’s Ismaïla Sarr, Leyton Orient’s Paul Smyth and Arsenal Women’s Laura Wienroither for the Goal of the Season.
Olise's strike against Manchester United was recently named the Premier League Goal of the Month for January 2023.
Independently judged by leaders from football administration and the football media, the London Football Awards will take place on Monday, March 13, 2023.
