Confirmed : Huddersfield Town loan out Spanish-born Nigerian defender

With a statement on their official website, Championship club Huddersfield Town announced on Wednesday that versatile Spanish-born Nigerian defender Charles Ondo has been loaned out to Waterford FC.
Ondo will spend the rest of the English football season on loan at the League of Ireland First Division team.
Born in Madrid nineteen years ago, Ondo joined Huddersfield Town on a scholarship deal in the summer of 2020, and rose through the ranks before making his first team debut for the Terriers in a Championship clash with Hull City on October 9, 2022.
Ondo, who is predominantly a left-back, is also comfortable playing as a wing-back and winger.
It remains to seen whether or not he will be included in the Waterford FC squad in their league opener against Wexford on Friday evening.
Meanwhile, Huddersfield Town have also confirmed that David Adewoju has returned to the club following his loan spell at Bradford (Park Avenue).
The defender made made three starts and two substitute appearances for the National League North club.
