Chukwuemeka in contention to be named in Chelsea squad v Dortmund, Madueke also trains

Carney Chukwuemeka is seemingly in contention to be included in Chelsea's matchday squad for the Champions League round of sixteen, second leg clash against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday under the lights at Stamford Bridge.
The England U20 international of Nigerian descent was involved in Chelsea's final training session on Monday, which suggests that he has been included in the provisional matchday squad by manager Graham Potter.
Of the seven matches contested by The Blues in the Champions League this term, Chukwuemeka has received five call-ups, was left out of the squad for the home fixture versus AC Milan and a hamstring injury prevented him from playing the dead rubber tie against Dinamo Zagreb early November.
The 19-year-old made his first appearance in 42 days as Chelsea returned to winning ways on Saturday, beating Leeds United 1-0 in the Premier League.
Defensive midfielder N'Golo Kante took part in full training on Monday but the game against Dortmund has come too soon for him, thus brightening the chances of Chukwuemeka making the matchday squad.
Another youngster with a Nigerian background, Noni Maduke is not available fo selection as he hasn't been registered for the knockout rounds of the Champions League, but the former PSV Eindhoven winger also trained at Cobham Training Center on Monday ahead of Chelsea's upcoming Premier League game against Leicester City.
Meanwhile, cap-tied Germany international of Nigerian descent, Karim Adeyemi, the match winner in the first leg, has not traveled with the Borussia Dortmund squad to the English capital due to a muscle injury.
